These brollies are fitted with fibreglass ridge poles rather than the more usual steel. This considerably reduces weight and lasts longer! Fibreglass is more flexible than steel so will not snap as easily under tension. Fitted with 100% waterproof nylon, the weight saving is so great that you will hardly notice you have a brolly in your holdall!
